ATOMSt.Philips Boy's Choir - Be still for the presence of the lord
오늘 우연히 YouTube를 돌아 다니다가 필립소년 합창단의 뮤직비디오도 있는지 궁금해 졌답니다. 생각보다 꽤 많은 뮤직비디오들이 있었는데 그중에서 제가 제일 좋아했던 곡을 하나 올려 봅니다.

처음 이곡을 들었을때의 그 감흥은 잊을수가 없었어요. 인간의 목소리만큼 아름다운 악기가 있을까? 라는 생각도 들고 막연히 '아름답다'라는 것 이외에는 다른 생각을 할수가 없었죠. 성 필립 소년 합창단은 기존의 소년합창단들이 (파리 나무 십자가 합창단이나 빈 소년 합창단..) 종교적인 음악적 색체에 얽메여서 대중성을 잃어가고 있을때 팝적인 요소의 편곡을 가미해서 나온 이들의 앨범 'Angel Voice'는 정말 신선한 충격 이었습니다. 곧바로 CF감독들이 가장 선호하는 음반이 되어 버렸다고 해요. 오랫만에 듣는 이곡은 여전히 아름다웠습니다.
